A most powerful method of communication, it speaks where words can no longer find the strength to be spoken. It effectively stirs emotion, respective of the language of expression, or the background of the listener.
Though silence holds equal potential in its power to express, through music the heart can soar the heights of the sky, or hover close to the surface of the sea. It is an essential component of the language of life, whether the result be a dance, a smile, a thought, a memory, or a tear.

the power of music (along with dialogue and other sounds) and the equal power of silence is an area that I'm very intrigued by in my film studies.
