outside the box

Ironic.

The mind that believes itself to be open:
the one that embraces everyone and everything;
the one that prides on going against the norm;
the one that holds more relaxed moral conviction ;
the one that says it is liberal to the core
is ruled and thus confined by reason,
logic, its 5 senses, and nothing more.

And yet...
the one that is ruled by more than the tangible;
the one that can expand beyond the touchable;
the one that is convinced that nothing is impossible;
the one that embraces and practices faith... unjustifiable;
the one that includes and goes beyond the logical
is the mind that is branded as closed.

There is no box

no need

"There’s no need to argue anymore.
I gave all I could, but it left me so sore,
And the thing that makes me mad
Is the one thing that I had...
I knew, I knew I’d lose you.
You’ll always be special to me.

I remember all the things we once shared:
Watching TV-movies on the living room armchair...
But they say it will work out fine,
Was it all a waste of time?
'Cause I knew, I knew I’d lose you.
You’ll always be special to me.

Will I forget in time?
You said I was on your mind...
There’s no need to argue,
No need to argue anymore.
There’s no need to argue anymore."

discomfort

There's something bugging me;
nagging away at me...
but I can't put my finger on it;
can't manifest it;
can't articulate it;
can't express it any other way
but by silence.
