They entered her home without her permission and violated her privacy. They searched her belongings, ran wires through her phone and watched her as she moved. She opposed the use of her homeland for weapons testing and they knew it. She joined her countrymen in riots protesting the misuse and mistreatment of their soil, the infection of their air, their water, and their crops. They branded her a ‘terrorist’ for opposing the government cowards who placed her life and country at risk for their own merit, never once caring for the people they claim as their own. Many before her were arrested for flying their native flag.

She had seen friends caught protesting; their records altered and marred thus preventing any hope of future education in the motherland they loathe. They went elsewhere, she wanted more. In her small way, she wanted them to pay for the damage they had done. Someday she will return, but until then she will continue to work their system and milk their money, gaining her higher education with all the benefits at their expense.
