up and down it goes, like a pendulum it swings, the only prerequisite being a force to start with. though this starting force is different every time, the motion is predictable: no rise exists without a fall.
no rhyme or reason for the low, except the simple truth that forces must find equilibrium. if this be so, it is only time before it must rise again.

Life is balance: good, bad; up, down; happy sad. The pendulum reflects the up and down...
