it is hard sometimes to see the mirror and accept and love what is there.
when she is not looking she feels more confident, more secure, more like she can conquer the world and no one can stand in her way.
she passes her reflection and is reminded. she spends time looking, dissecting the image and trying to see how she might make it better without making it false. this life has portrayed the fallacy that long and flowing is beautiful, but she possesses short and madly curly, so much so in fact, 'curly' does not adequately describe her. this feature is important to her. it is that which frames her face, and, in her eyes, has the power to alter her beauty with each style.
she must make a choice: sacrifice that which she was first given and gain the beauty she thinks the world prefers, or find the strength to deal with herself unaltered and, convincing herself first, realize that true beauty lies in natural diversity.

very deep. I especially like the madly curly. I'm still trying to unify my self image with my reflection but maybe it does not matter so much because my self image is better.
