Do you know for sure (100%) that you are on your way to heaven when you die?

If yes for any one of the following:
-‘I am or try to be a good person’
-‘I read my Bible and pray’
-‘I attend church and/or are a member thereof’
-‘I am a member/part of a Christian/Catholic religion’…
though these are all good, the Bible doesn’t say they will get you there… also read on.

You can know!
'These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.' (1 John 5:13)

Realize
‘As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:’(Rom 3:10)
‘For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;’ (Rom 3:23)
‘Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:’ (Rom 5:12)

Know
‘For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.’ (Rom 6:23)
‘For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:’
(Eph 2:8)

Going to heaven is a gift. Nothing you can do, whether be good, go to church, join a religion… will earn you that gift. You just have to reach out and take it.

Believe & Receive
‘That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ (Rom 10:9-13)

a simple prayer from the mouth of a believing heart should work just fine. no fancy words required.

The Promise
‘He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.’ (John 3:36)

The above is affectionately called the ‘Romans road to salvation’ because it is laid out quite clearly there. There are many religions you can join and church denominations you can be a part of, but all means nothing if the truth is not taught. Once saved always saved, and salvation is not about the deeds you do - those give you rewards in Heaven. However, don’t take my, or anyone else’s, word for it. Read it all for yourself.
